Done! woohoo!! by
pajaritaflora
Hi,
Ive finally finished the Desert Scene (I've got to get better names).
Just moments ago I completed it. I was too tired to go on last night.
It is silk top with marker and paint, hand quilted all the way to the
edge. I like this finishing much better than my attempt at binding. I
quilted to...

http://community.webshots.com/photo/348519420/348679574qzLpbN I'm going to
have to put it and all UFOs aside now because I've been commissioned to make
a quilt.

OT International Telephone Cards by
Janet of Gar
I know you guys know everything, so here is my question:
DD#1 will be traveling to Romania with her BF and his family (they are from
there).
What are her options for calling home? We saw "international" cards at the
local
Walgreen's (pharmacy store), but we were not sure if they cover...

King size woes by
mypet
In the past I have used a Jasmine quilt frame with king size rails.
This is a wonderful frame as I was told when I first began shopping for
my ideal frame. I was also told by one lady...."the only problem with
a floor frame for king size is that they take up a LARGE amount of real
estate". Well,...

Ready for June by
Uschi
When I decided to join in the fun of the rctq bom I decided only to make
the pieced ones as I do not really enjoy applique. Yesterday afternoon I
suddenly decided to do the applique blocks as well. I just finished the
four blocks we have and put them on my webshot page (and also sent them
to...

Cleaning sewing area by
ALZ
Well, I don't have a sewing room, but a sewing corner in a large den.
Cleaning the whole thing out for renovations. The entire 1970s stucco
decor and shag carpeting is being torn out. Lots of mess, dust and
$$$, but when the dust clears, not everything is going back in. I hope
to post a lot of...

Some scraps + some time=quilt by
Joan
I had been looking at the pattern time and again for the past four years.
Now, suddenly between quilts (well, not that suddenly), I went back to the
pattern, back to my scraps which were piling up again, and I thought
small, both in the size for the quilt and in the amount of time I had
before I...

new to sewing on a sewing machine. she is only making 1 yard fabric's with...

RED-WHITE-BLUE BROKEN STAR DONE by
SNIGDIBBLY
see Pix #1 - 15 of the 48 blocks are made into a top. I changed my mind on
the patriotic fabric and used a coca cola print on denim blue for the
border. I made it queen size so it has large border sashing. I'll probably
bind it in red. Any who - it is done and ready to go to the...

Happy Dance :) by
Sandy Foster
I'd really hoped that this latest quilt would be a little larger, but I
was never able to find the fabrics I wanted for it or even suitable
substitutes. That's okay, though -- small and finished is better than
larger and unfinished. g But today I did finish my Radiant Feathered
Star (which can be...

Quilt Block by
Mary in Washington
I am confused now. I have seen a block in several of your web shot
albums and now I can't find it.
It is like a card trick only there are 6 colors. It has been bugging
me and when I went to find it I could not.
If you know what I am trying to find and can tell me where to find a
pattern for it...
