Knitting Peeves? by
DA
I hate it when I have spent a couple of weeks knitting a sweater out of a
nice yarn, with a complex pattern or unusual design and the first time I
wear it, some one says "You know, I saw a sweater just like that at
WallMart/KMart".
What is your pet knitting peeve?

Spinning and Weaving by
Neal Rogers
Hi everyone:
I'm new to this newsgroup and wondered if anyone is interested in weaving
and hand or wheel spinning. I didn't see any other newsgroups devoted to
looms and wheels.
The reason I'm asking is that my wife and her youngest daughter are
presently taking spinning lessons through a local...

Two more FO's by
YarnWright
Finished two more moebius, totally revamping Cat's pattern to suit
me... hoping to get pix up 'sometime' this weekend. I've just started
the 4th one this morning, too.
I *might* give two of them to my sister and mother as gifts...
however, IF I do, I already know that 'praise', thanks, or credit...

Looking for baby alpaca yarn by
Joan Erickson
Hi,
Several years ago I purchased some yarn. I finally found a pattern to
use with it and have found I need more than what I got. I contacted the
company and they replied they discontinued this line of yarn several
years ago. They sent me a list of stores who had purchased it and I'm...

Coming out of lurkdom to ask...
Has anyone made an Eros scarf from this pattern?
It's at http://www.plymouthyarn.com/home/freepatterns.html
The pattern says I need to double the Eros. What is the best way to do this?

pretty can exist. But a skillful knitter can do such a

So how do people deal with those little balls of yarn left over from a
project? How do you store them? They do not fit in a file folder!
Do you keep the gauge trial with the left over yarn? But, some of my gauge
trials are stitch samplers that I...
