The "one at a time or several" thread by
YarnWright
There was a "snide" comment made that those of us who have more than one
going are "unfocused"... rather than multi-taskers...
so my 'snide' remark back is:
those who think they're "focused" have *tunnel-vision* LOL!
rotflmao!

I'm so EXCITED!... by
Norma
I just booked our flights for February to Florida! Yay! WE go to Treasure
Island again on the 8th to the 22nd. Sunshine, warmth, beaches, flea
markets, good company, good food, no snow! What more could a girl ask for!

Designing Aran Sweaters by
Allaya Diep
Hi Group!
Can anybody recommend some good books of stitch libraries or anything
relevant if I wanted to design my own Aran sweater? I went to Amazon and
came up with a couple:
"220 Aran Stitches and Patterns - Volume 5 (Harmony Guides)"; and
"Patterns for Guernseys, Jerseys, and Arans;...

Arans and Celtics (the best of ) by
[email protected]
I am one step late on this book since it came out 2003 but did not see
it until yesterday. I love this book ! It has a vest in it that is
unbelievable for sampling stitches ! A Vest of Many Stitches ! Aptly
named ! Has anyone made this ? I am pretty dog-gone sure the yarn is
not out there any...

Knitting needle kit question (Boye vs. Denise) by
I am looking to purchase a knitting needle kit and have found these two kits
on the internet. I don't want to have to purchase new needles everytime I
start a new project and this seems to be the way around that. Especially
the circular ones. The Denise kit sounds like it is better, but it...

What kind of pattern is this called? by
Bryan
I know it's something simple, and when I hear it I'll be like oh yea, I
remember now.
But it's basically like a "paint by number" type pattern, I suspect mostly
done in a double crochet you either "fill in" a square or "skip" a square to
make a picture in a field (like a blanket). I'm currently...

Seeking Chelsea Silk Color # 166 (discontinued yarn) by
jim carton
I am trying to find a skein of Chelsea Silk yarn. The color is number
166. I bought some yarn, started a project, don't have enough and
found out it is discontinued. I found the company that bought out the
importers supply, but they don't have any of this color left. I need
some to finish the...

Squares received by
Janise Ross
Everybody....(and Cher)....
I am so happy to announce that I received my squares from Nora today.
They are lovely! The granny square is crocheted in a yarn similar to what a
former patient of my husband's used for the towel toppers that she gave to
him. It is a variegated green, white, pink, and...
