Manual for Singer 99, 1928? by
[email protected]
Hi,
does anyone have an electronic copy of the manual for the
Singer Mod. 99, made in 1928?
I'd really appreciate if you could email me a copy, I can't find it
anywhere on the net.
Thanks a lot!

QI approval by
Debra
I did the math for a lap quilt for DH, fussy cut the focus fabric,
then folded and arranged the coordinating fabrics to fit the shape and
dimensions of the block I plan to use. The first two arrangements
didn't suit me and I left each of them on the table for a few minutes
to see if they "grew on...

Redesigned My Sewing Area by
frood
Miss Fussy Rose came up with that rule: Never stand in a swizzle chair! It's
a good one.
Love the redesign. I keep forgetting to look for my paper layout of my area,
so I can try out some re-arranging without having to drag the heavy...

Free Mystery Quilt Pattern by
Marcella Peek
Hi all -
I finally put up my updated web site. As I promised, when I did I would
post to let you all know that the first step of the mystery quilt is
up. You can find it under "projects".
Yes, I am affiliated :-) but there is nothing for sale on my site so it
hardly matters.

Hi Marcella
Your e-mail bounced back to me, so I don't know if you saw my general Thank
You. Realized I should have included your name.
I love the squishie, thanks for the nice thoughts.

DrQuilter
I am leaving for 3 weeks of vacation back home soon.. I'd like to
prepare a kit to have something to do back home. Unfortunately my only
hand project is at the stage where it would need to be quilted, and I am
not taking that along - it is quite hot down there also. any ideas?

silk ties ideas, please by
Denise in NH
Hi, I was recently given a bag of 30 beautiful silk ties, but I have no
idea what to do with them. I know I can cut them up for crazy quilt
things, but I've never handled silk.
They appear to be clean and hardly worn. Do I wash them first, how?,
then cut them up? Do I remove the lining?
I'm...

OT Receding chaos by

I am finally alone in the house (at least until the next "sewist" calls in
to see if they can come back to classes - LOL). The builders have gone
off for a while to other jobs (at my request) because I just need - really
NEED - to NOT have people around for a while. I plan to slowly get all...
