sewing liner onto knitted wool shawl? by sarab
I've made a rather large stockingknit stitch shawl that I appliqued w/ knitted leaves on one side - would like to line the inside to hide the attaching stitches. Not much of a seamstress, although I do own a machine. Cascade 220 wool used, so kinda bulky. How to do? Thanks!

Hi, Gang! Things are still very, very busy in the Jameson household. Don's still in remission, and we are in the process of appealling the VA's decision to cut his disability from 100percent to ZERO percent..... long story short, it ENDED October 1, and while we agree that he's not 100percent...

Doll clothes by Qintes
I want to move on to knitting more than just scarves but I'm afraid a full blown sweater would be too big a project for me just yet. So I thought I might start with doll (cabbage patch) clothes...not too much time lost if I mess up with them I think. I found some patterns on the net and I may...

Hi, I have some great 100% wool yarn (Paton's Viking) which I think would be great for felting. I would like to make a pair of clogs. Are there any good free patterns out there? TIA Hugz, Susan *************************** Knitting is a haven, a safe place where one can touch history,

Bernat Bali by [email protected]
I came across a pattern for a beach cover-up. It is one of those retro patterns. It calls for "Bernat Bali" with a "D" crochet hook. Bernat doesn't have this on their website. I assume it is a type of thicker thread or a sport cotton yarn. Does anyone have any suggestions of another yarn to...

Fun fur collar on Jean Jacket by nobodyhome1
Does anyone have any idea how I could knit a fun fur collar and how I could attach it to a jean jacket. I saw a picture of a jacket with the "fur" on the collar and cuffs and it was so cute. Any suggestions? Miriam
