Ron Anderson? by Betsy Ross
I hope I have the name correct. You seem to be the man with the answers so I wanted to pose this one to you: I purchased a quilter's Curve Master and an invisible zipper foot that require an adapter for my Bernina 1000. I bought the adapter at a Bernina dealer, although it did not appear to...

Rope Pull? by SteveB[_7_]
Anyone know where I can get aluminum rope pull strips? You sew in a round cord on canvas, then thread the sewn canvas and cord through the aluminum extrusion. The extrusion has been fastened to something solid, and this gives you a starting point of attachment for the canvas on an awning. Is...

Rubber Cement on Fabric? by RLK
I crafted a new shade for my lamp. Not having any fabric "glue", I used rubber cement. It is a small shade and appears to have bonded the lightweight cotton fabric (fused with interface) quite well to the template. But will this eventually fall off? If I were to get fabric glue, what brand do I...

Ruched Sash--How to make? by Taloola
I am making sashes for bride's maids in my daughter's wedding. She has seen a picture of a "Ruched Sash" and would like that style. It looks like it has small pleats or tucks but I am not sure how you would do this. The description says that the sash is 4.5" wide. I have a lot of sewing...

ruching by Glitterati
Is it very difficult to do? Is there a specific method of gathering the fabric? Anyone know of a book or site? I absolutely LOVE this top. Granted, this made of a knit material, but I can see it working with a plain cotton t shirt as well. (Do other experienced eyes also see it working? =)) I...

Anyone ever had a rug (not a carpet) repaired? I pulled a 9 X 12 Karastan wool rug off the curb last night This is an excellent quality machine-woven rug, a big Karastan. I got a good look at it this morning. Compared to some of the wonderful antique Persian rugs on sale for beaucoup bucks,...

Saggy bottom by MY WORD
Got your attention? Well here's the problem. I've lost a lot of weight but still have to wear an 18 because of spots that have not shrunk much. Part of that is my abdomen but I have no butt any more and the leg opening of my new bathing suit just hangs open on the butt side. Any suggestions on...
