Longest Thread so far in 2006 by
~KK in BC~
Ok, so maybe I have too much time on my hands..?
I went looking into the archives and of course totally forgot what I went
looking for in the first place. I then noticed that there are some very
short threads and some that go on to great lengths!
Of all the ones I looked at from Jan 2006 to now,...

I got squished! by
~KK in BC~
Thank you so much my squisher. It came at such a perfect time and it really
did bring some sunshine to my day.
Things have been weird here, off balance and just plain busy! I have been
busier than a one legged man at an a$$ kicking contest for sure. Add to that
I have a new job that I will be...

require them. My life is just...

OT - Why I have been MIA on the quilting things. by
~KK in BC~
Someone asked me how I was doing and this is what my reply was and then it
hit me that maybe I should be letting folks know here that I have not
forgotten you or how to quilt my stash is missing me and my SM's are in a
state of shock and withdrawal!
Well other than being incredibly busy...

Too hot to think let alone quilt or do anything other than melt..
So for those of you who believe the north is a cold climate to live in, I

on a new life as a dump :-( , the room where the "I don't know where to put
it's" go to live out the rest of their lives.
We have had nothing but...

~KK in BC~
-17C today. (-17 degree Celsius = 1.4 degree Fahrenheit) Snowing in almost
blizzarding conditions. Talk about winter depression setting in.
I had a thought though..... with all this snow and winter and whiteness I
thought I may as well hibernate somewhere in my home and the logical place
was...

Offer of NON quilty fabrics. by
~KK in BC~
I am the not so proud owner of about 300 4" squares of NON quilty fabric
squares of a variation that would blow your mind. I got them mostly from bed
skirts and sheets and Wallyworld cotton/poly fabrics.
The intention was to use up recycled fabrics for covers for my camper quilts
but since that...

Did you ever find the yellow sparkle fabric? by
~KK in BC~
Our WM here has a bolt of it, it is just around 6 meters, maybe a bit less
and is selling for $8.97 a meter plus tax.
Funny, it is the ONLY colour in that line that our store has! We no longer
have the blue, green, pink or other colours in the line, just the yellow.

How wide of a cut by
~KK in BC~
I want to make a double binding (ie: folded in half and then sewn on and
hand stitched to the backside.
How wide is the norm for cutting this type of binding? Or is there a set
norm or is it simply personal preference?
Just an inquiring mind.
I know what I did, but what would you do?

it is just pure joy! lol
I did manage to dig out my sewing room...
