casting low nickel copper by
[email protected]
I'm going to try casting some pendants and read of the problems
associated with casting pure copper. I heard of a guy who used nickel
coins (I know it's illegal to do this) for his castings. I found out
that nickel coins are 25% nickel and 75% copper. So my question is
this:
Can I cast copper at...

Hi,
I was wanting to purchase a diamond tester and would appreciate if you
could recommend one. Budget would be up to $750.
I would also appreciate if you could explain the rationale for your
recommendation and compare and contrast between the kinds of testers
that are available.

top drilled briolettes by
Mike Murphy
Hi
I'm new to jewelry making and I want to buy some top drilled
briolettes, either pink tourmaline or aquamarine. I don't mind whether
they are real or lab created ( as I think they would look the same -
to an amateur).
Most of the ones I have seen on ebay are cross drilled - plus they
have a...

Anyone ever used a Roland impact Printer/engraver? by
MEvans1653
Hi,
I was thinking about maybe in the near future purchasing one of these units..
Anyone ever used one and if so are you happy with the product? We want to
engrave on very small pieces of stainless steel jewelry and wondered how well
this worked.
Thanks

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what equipment I need to
shape small stones. By stones, I don't mean gems, but actual rocks -
river stones, granite, etc. The equipment I'm finding online seems to
be about huge stone blocks for sculptors, etc. Most stone I am working
with is fairly...
