Kate is visiting Barbara, and we had a fun weekend stamping, along with
a friend of Barbara's who is a graphic artist (her work always puts the
rest of us to shame!).
To see a sampling of the cards we made, go to:

My son is missing (NOT a hoax! This is MY son!) by
Cecelia
This isn't from a "friend of a friend". This is MY CHILD! His name is Marc
Medbery. He
disappeared last Thursday (July 28, 2005). He was last seen in Bellevue,
Nebraska about
2:15pm wearing a black t-shirt with a white long sleeve button down
over it and a pair of jeans. He is 6'2" and weighs...

Acrylic stamps by
Barbara Hass
OK, so my mom brought all of her acrylic stamps/blocks from CTMH with
her this past weekend, and it was my first experience using the stamps.
I liked them very much overall, but it seemed that the ink didn't coat
the stamps as well as with rubber - almost like it was pooling on the
stamp, to a...

Ink pads by
Jeanne Burton
I buy all of my stamps from stampin' up. I have found them to work
the best. (That's why I became a demonstrator) I think they are
consistent and have never had problems with blotching. I tried many of
the stamp pads at Micheal's, but not with as much success. I also use
Staz-on for my non-porous...

Shop Recommendation - Cute'n'Crafty by

I'm normally very wary about recommending shops to people as the service
received from some of them can be variable at the best of times!
But I've used this company a few times now for mail order, and I've always
been pleased with the service they've provided. They have a good range of
high...

"Painting" embossed images with condensed milk by
Barbara Hass
Kate and Barbara were at it again today! We are stamping maniacs!
We decided to try a technique featured in "The Rubber Stamper"
(April/May 2003), which involved painting an embossed image with
sweetened condensed milk and using a heat gun to carmelize the milk. It
gives a lovely effect, and of...
