I was told #304 is the correct historical red DMC for redwork. Any of you redwork experts in here know which red is colorfast? I don't care if it is Anchor or DMC.

Dianne; I know you carry this. Can you describe this silk and it's properties. Would it be useful for crewel work and covering ground well. Where is it made? I saw it had a good number of converting numbers to match the DMC. Is it pretty accurate to hue?
