Strongest beading thread - your opinions by
Mary
Hi guys! In your opinion, what's the strongest beading thread out
there for bracelets?
I need something strong that will stand up to everyday wear with the
weight of 30-35g of glass and metal beads, yet thin enough to fit
doubled through seed beads. I've been using nylon upholstery thread
with...

Are things slowing down? by
Karleen/Vibrant Jewels
Is it just me, or are things slowing down? Has anyone else noticed their
sales slowing ... or stopping? I was looking at the different Yahoo groups
for beading... and the posts in the groups have been dwindling, especially
this month. What's up? Has the beading craze peaked and on the downslide?...

I found beads!! by
empressbeads
I checked my inventory and then placed my usual listings up on ebay last
week. I usually don't get bids until right before the auction closes. But
I received some bids early. I went back to check my inventory and I was
missing amethyst. I was thinking OH NO what am I going to do. I was...

Back from Bead & Button by
Beadseeker
I'm back, everyone. What an awesome show! I had a great time. The weather,
however, was atrocious, so I just had to stay inside and play with the beads
(and my Mastercard). Here's some of what I bought:
two floral beads and a small fish bead from Janice Peacock
pink plum floral focal from Leah...

McClellan is just outside of Sacto, about 12-15 minutes up I80E. Shouldn't be
too hard to give directions too...you get off the freeway and take it down
about 2 miles...

AVG - Free, powerful anti-virus software download:

I've been using it for years, and it's the best out there. Doesn't screw up
the computer like Norton, etc. Updates automatically, all the time (if you

I am just so over whelmed with joy I can't say enough about how great the

Today I went out to the mail box and found a package and I know that I
didn't order anything lately, but I opened it since it had my name on it. I

Order from Nigeria by
empressbeads
I just received a large order from Nigeria! Over $200.00 the shipping to
there is around $200.00. Just a little under their costs for goods. They
want to pay with a credit card. My CC company guarantees funds. But I am
still nervous. I am very excited for the order. Largest order yet!

Barbara's B&B Show Report by

I'm home! And it's good to be back...it really is.
The show was great. I went a few years ago and it wasn't nearly as organized
and professional as it was this year. The class selections were amazing - I
could have spent 10 times what I did on classes, lol. I took 4 classes
total, below are...

Beaded cabochon by
Helene
Hi, I'm new to this group and VERY new to beading. I just beaded my first
item--a cabochon I made from polymer clay. I hope it's alright to ask a
question in this group. I glued the cabochon to interfacing and then added
two rows of beading and a ruffle. Now I'm wondering what I do with it to...
