I was just on a site called www.motherofallshopping.com, and it's absolutely great. I'm sure you all can find some great uses for it as well. It's very fun and informative.

more Z and S twists by Els van Dam

Looking for Special Hat Pattern by PatETC
A lady came into our office yesterday wearing a cute hat. The band was ribbed and it then appeared to be almost like a little scarf with decreases (it was done in popcorn stitch) until it ended in a point at the back with a pompom on the point. She said it would work well for ponytails since the...

Help me! Stitches too tight! by Charlie
I'm knitting a simple (yeah right...) scarf, it's the first thing I've made and I'm finding that my stitches are really tight on the needles. The actual knitting is coming out more or less fine, but it's such a struggle to get the stitches to slide on the needle, and to push the needle through...

Help - need pattern by Soozergirl
Hi all, I just looked at the pattern I have for the bolero-type jacket I was going to make my DIL for Christmas - and decided that I didn't want to figure out the directions right now. I had looked online and in library books (and of course my own books) for something small, fancy/lacy and "girly"...

New member (or old?) by Soozergirl
Hi, I was a member of this group a couple of years ago and dropped out to focus on things other than knitting (are there any?) I recently reacquainted myself with my needles and stash, and as many of you have probably experienced - have been sucked back into the world of knitting, again....

head sizes for hats by bungadora
How big is a 2-3 year old child's head? I'm making a beret for one of my grand-nieces and maximum stretch circumference is 16". It looks awfully small. I've used one of those plush cotton yarns and it doesn't have much elasticity. TIA Dora http://picturetrail.com/bungadora
