Disposal of slip and glazes? by
edard
Old ceramic slip, paints and glazes has filled my garage for years...frozen
and thawed many times. Most of the paint has dried in the jars and the
glaze and slip have separated. How can I dispose of this stuff? At least
I was able to sell the molds and kiln.
Thanks

Light work offered (A bit OT) by
Eddie Daughton
A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away there were all of these
little light beings just hanging out enjoying life in that joyful & timeless
dimension. And then one day a very large, magnificent angel came to them. He

harnessing the mighty internet by
Momzilla
Hey Folks,
Does anyone here sell work on-line? Do people buy pottery and sculpture
on-line?or do you do best at Art and Craft Fairs?
Are gallery owners wary of artists with a strong web presence? Would
prospective buyers be more likely to see an artist in a gallery and them
seek to buy direct...

Glaze formula executable - uploading software by
W_D_Great_Divider
I have a little program I have written that allows you to create and save a
glaze formula and displays the molecular and unity formula. It is really
just a tiny thing and does not compare to www.digitalfire.com or the
software with Mastering Cone 6 Glazes (it would be something of an intro...

Best Clay for Ovenware by

pottery term by
James Norton
I'm trying to think of a word that describes a process used in Wedgwood
manufacturing that involves applying a band of low relief decoration around
the outside of a vase. The band is prepared in a plaster mold and
transferred to the vase. Any help is appreciated.

"Gleco Trap" for sink plumbing? by
SpunMud
I just read someone's response to a question regarding the age-old question of
how a potter keeps the sink gunk from going into the sewer/septic, and the
suggestion was to look into a product called a "Gleco Trap." The poster gave a
link that showed it.
Anyway, it looks great, IF it works and...
