Cher, oh Cher you are so great! by
Pirjo Ilvesvuori
My message to you got through, I am happy about it. And even
happier I am about the case it is possible! You are super
great friend, Cher! Let's hope The Blankie I am knitting
will survive to its new owner-to-be. The first part is who
knows where at the moment. I mean I sent it a long time...

And the wheels are going to turn..... by
Jennifer Molvik
Okay, went to a local "Knit-Out" this last Saturday. Saw a spinning
demonstration (OH NO!), remembered that DM bought a spinning wheel @ a
garage sale couple years ago...... Can you see where this is leading?
Rescued the spinning wheel (it needed a new belt), and am about to try my
hand at...

2 Patterns by
Janise Ross
I had promised that I would send in the patterns I used for Mirjam's 6x6
squares, so here they are. (I hope there aren't any mistakes.) I also must
point out that I use the long tail method of casting on and my first row is
always the wrong side. I have adjusted the patterns to reflect this,...

Looking for Lucille by

Hi Myka,
I sent you a more private reply with my regular address and now I'm getting
more of an idea about your address. I see you are using a university
address and now I'm truly intrigued. Are you a student or a member of
faculty, or staff, or what?
Just in case you don't get the private...

What kind of pattern is this called? by
Bryan
I know it's something simple, and when I hear it I'll be like oh yea, I
remember now.
But it's basically like a "paint by number" type pattern, I suspect mostly
done in a double crochet you either "fill in" a square or "skip" a square to
make a picture in a field (like a blanket). I'm currently...

Major score, read on by
SlinkyToy
Went out to look at wheels today. Came back with:
A great wheel. Needs more TLC than I can give it, but Bill Wyatt
(http://www.wyattwheels.com) is just down the road and will true up
the wheel, sell me a minor's head, and do whatever else needs doing,
for a quite reasonable price.
A gossip...

6x6 Received by
JW
I received my squares from Katherine today and they are absolutely gorgeous!
Perfect choice of color! They are nice, textured squares in one of the
deepest and richest reds I've seen. I love them!

To my partners-to-be when 6x6 is in question by
Pirjo Ilvesvuori
I can knit, that is sure. Here are the patterns:
1. Garter stitch
2. Ribbing
3. Stockinette
4. Moss stitch
5. Basketweave
Lace is not my cup of tea, neither are the cable patterns..
they are rather difficult to knit. So the things I can make

6 X 6 by
Jacqueline Butt
Hi ,
Can someone fill me in about the squares. How many do youhave to do and
where do you send them? Do you get enought o make an afghan or does someone
else make them?
I know this might sound stupid to some but I really don't understand it and
would like to. Also if you don't have to do many...
