OT Gingerbread by
NightMist
OK, I find I have more "standard" gingerbread recipes than I thought.
It depends on what I have to work with. I suppose I never thought about
it, however it seems my household has been paying a LOT more attention to
the matter than I ever imagined! I scrounged up my notebooks to dig out
my...

OT Gingerbread Technology by
NightMist
OK I am at least a gingerbread demi-goddess.
I have been making gingerbread houses and accessories for some time.
DD#1 has decided to give it a go for the first time this year.
Even though she has turned her nose up at my dearly beloved
gingerbread goths, I have agreed to assist her.
Thing is, DH...

OT girlfriends by
Bonnie Patterson
Girlfriends
A young wife sat on a porch in Waycross, Georgia on a summer day,
drinking iced tea and visiting with her Mother. As they talked about
life, about marriage, about the responsibilities and the obligations
of adulthood, the mother clinked the ice cubes in her glass
thoughtfully and...

OT giving and receiving by
Polly Esther
Better to give than to receive? I am not sure. Giving is great if it is
appreciated. It may be painful if it is not. Let me tell you about my
Thursday.
Last holiday season, I wore my genuine authentic jingle bells earrings
on my shopping rounds here in the Swamp. Many admired them. I thought...

OT glasses by
Butterfly
Went 'shopping' today. Bought my new glasses---full size frames (he felt
'sorry' for me and only charged 1/2 price for the frames $60.00)--beveled
edges---glare reduction tinted--not the 'from sun to shade
thingie'--progressive bifocals. They should be ready in 2 to 3 weeks.
NO fabric shopping for...

OT Glider Plane covers by
Alice in PA[_3_]
I think I've mentioned this project before, but now it's done! A friend and
neighbor asked me if I could do a sewing project for him. He said it would
be like pillowcases! Yep, 27 foot long pillowcases to use as covers for his
club's glider plane. We used poly/cotton as anything else would...

Just came from the Senseo Coffee maker give away "drop the drip". If you
turn in your old coffee maker, they give you theirs. They had a lot of new
coffee makers that were turned in, so I asked if I can take them to charity,
and they were so happy to give them. I was heading to drop off gifts for...

OT good gift ideas? by
Polly Esther[_5_]
Tell us your greatest hits. Here's mine.
Years ago, I started giving the ladies in the family really neat
cooking stuff instead of jewelry they might not like or something else that
I thought was pretty and they tucked away in a drawer, never to see daylight
again.
I wasn't certain...
