What is this embroidery called? by
KDLark
We travelled to my Dad's house this spring break for a long-overdue vist.
Everything went pretty well, and my irascible Dad was only ornery with my
husband and son, not me...that being rather remarkable. His wife's
daughter-in-law does cross stitch and they had several of her pieces framed,...

Happy Dance by
BCMcNamara
I finished my son's birth sampler the other night. I had posted awhile ago
asking for suggestions for one that wasn't too cutesy. I ended up designing my
own sampler. It is the biggest project I've ever designed by far. It is a
band sampler with some pulled thread work, drawn thread work,...

Because now I can finish the Hardanger doily I'm making as an end of the

Kristy
For those of you who have lived in Texas, you know this is true.

redwork colorfast red by
BDS2pds
I was told the DMC reds bleed into the white cotton so for someone lazy like
myself who does not want to go to the trouble ot rinsing the DMC reds, is there
an Anchor red that does not bleed?
Last time I rinsed the DMC I lost a lot of the color.

OR: Lexus tailgater by
Pat P
A man is being tailgated by a woman driving a Lexus on a busy boulevard.
Suddenly, the light turns yellow, just in front of him. He does the honest
thing and stops at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red
light by accelerating through the intersection.
The tailgating woman in...

Where my needlecraft has taken me : ) by
Shannon West
Several years ago there was a topic "Projects from Hell" or some such. I
read all the wonderful replies and gave my own little adventure trying to
stitch TW's Fantasy Sampler. Basically I threw it in the corner, I think
it's still there, and started knitting. I really got into it. I...

Stash Software? by
Carolyn Wagner
Hi all,
I need your opinions on a good software for organizing stash. I am
particularly interested in something that I can keep track of the charts in
all my various magazines so that I can search by subject, designer, etc. Is
there by changing anything out there that is free? What programs did...
