Newbie: Any Mitre Boxes for PC? by
Carlo Milono
Does anybody have knowledge of commercial mitre boxes (or designs)? I'm
relatively new to PC, and I can't use my woodworking mitre box (with a
saw) on such delicate things like 1/32" translucent slabs for a PC
stained glass, for example. I'd like to be able to do perfect 72degree
cross-sections,...

Looking for hardening clay for small figures... by
[email protected]
Our 8-yr-old boy makes tons of small figures out of clay. Every day.
He's highly devloped his skills. But he's only ever used the kind of
clay that doesn't harden. We want to find a clay of equal quality which
hardens. Any ideas?
Here's a link to some pics of his work that should please any lover...

Anything softer than sculpey primo? by
Aaron Freeman
I'm having a really hard time getting primo clay to get soft enought to
do detailed work - it's really leathery and crumbly. (Did I get a bad
batch?)
What is the "softest" polymer clay out there?

Wet Sanding... by
Barbara Forbes-Lyons
i do my wet sanding by hand. I presoak the paper, wrap it around a scrap
of old sponge and then place my elbows comfortably on the table, sit up
straight and then go to it!

Covering ceramic eggs by
ozana
I have a question about covering ceramic eggs with polymer clay. I am
useless at real eggs... they break so easily because I shake badly. I
would like to cover a ceramic egg that I came across. Do I need to put a
layer of clay on it before applying canes or can I put a sheet of canes on
it?
I...

Best "handling" polymer? Fimo got complaints! by
[email protected]
My little boy has been expertly creating with nonhardening modelling
clay for years. We gave him some Fimo awhile ago and it was eventually
rejected as being too hard to work with---I recall we
pre-softened/worked it for him. Is all heat-hardening polymer clay
harder to handle than nonhardening?...
