Well, yesterday was the day that Donna's & my EGA chapter hostessed at Woodlawn. The exhibit had lots of small items this year, some stunning beadwork, stumpwork, samplers, and everything else. In the "hand sewing" room there was a lovely christening gown which had been made from the grandmothers...

Magazine Article - attn: Ellice by Donna
Wow. I got off the phone with Ellice yesterday and forgot to tell her that Orna Willis wrote an article in Needlepoint Now about the class that Ellice took with her at ANG Seminar last year. Orna did not mention names. Donna in Virginia

OT - cookery by Bruce[_4_]
In a recipe it said "seperate two eggs" but it didn't tell me how far apart they have to be. I must be a bad cook because I boil my eggs for hours and they're STILL hard! Bruce

Update on wedding sampler lettering dilemma by Kalmia
Well, I let too much time go by, the canvas I had at home was too fine, the stash I had produced the wrong colors, and I just don't feel like driving 60 miles for the supplies I'd need, or play the order and sweat their arrival game......so I've decided to just give them a very practical house type...

reading recommendation by The Lady Gardener[_3_]

New Finish & Photos by The Lady Gardener[_3_]
Yeah, finally finished my online class project, and photos posted on RCTNP. The original design of the project can be seen here http://frommerrysheart.com/index.php/online-classes (second one down). I've totally changed the design, my thoughts on the artistic merit of the original design were...
