I followed the instruction and cook the clay for 15 min at 275F. When I removed it, it is still elastic. Does that mean it's not cooked, or does it harden after it cools down? I ended up cooking it a few more minutes until it hardened. But I'm not quite sure if it was necessary.

Hi I asked a retailer who sells air brushes if a certain model works with acrylic. There reply was it will work ok if you thin the paint with screen car wash. Has anybody heard of or done this. Thanks

What are the reasons one would drill a bead after baking instead of piercing it while soft? How do you drill a squirming, rolling bead, (i.e. what drill, how do you keep it still, etc?) Many thanks from a real newbie!

Hello. I'm new to the group. I once worked as a scupltor for a miniatures company in the 70's and 80's... lead soldiers and fantasy 25mm minis. Just getting started in Polymer Clay. I mostly sculpt figurines of people (working from photos). See examples on My Web site:
