A methods for quick curing green wood I have used sucessfully:
Tie it and let it run under a fast flowing stream or on the beach to a pier if
you live by the coast. Salt water is better but running water really does it in
less that a quarter of the time.
Alternatively like the previous fellow...

Beginners Knife?? by

I am a pocket-knife whittler and would like to move up to more serious
carving. My interest is 3 dimensional figure carving. If you were to buy
just one knife to achieve that goal, what would it be?
