Knitting Machine Purchase by
Teri
I just purchased a used Brother Model KH-840. I've never in my life
used a knitting machine and when looking at the manuals that came with
it, I am totally overwhelmed. I just recently learned to hand knit
and love it and thought a machine would be fun. Now I'm wondering if
I made the right...

The site's back. There was a problem with the server. The two latest pages
still aren't showing their pictures but you can at least see Cher's
pattern - if you haven't already seen it that it! The picture at the top of
the index page isn't showing either.

Crochet magazines and patterns for sale or trade. by
Rachel Gasperson
I have a huge list of crochet magazines and patterns for sale - $2 each.
Some are worth more according to e-bay, but I don't want to mess with e-bay.
Will consider trade for Lopi Yarn, or Lambs Pride bulky.
If you'd like to see a list, send an e-mail to and I'll
send it in a...

NYCO finished, Pic. by
AUD
I have finished my vest, not what I really had thought as my NYCO at
first,
but did not find the yarn I wanted for a nice sweater.
I got so bored of the colores when knitting it!
But it is warm, and my pupils thinks the colores are nice, so OK!

Feb 6 x 6 rec'd by
Sorceress
I just received my squares from my Feb 6 x 6 partner. They're great! One
ultra-bright rainbow square and one shades of purple and white square. And
for an extra added bonus she sent me a neat little hematite beaded stitch
holder. Yay! Another cool doodad for my toolbox!

She wants a not too difficult crochet pattern for an afghan made from Red
Heart Plush Yarn. She specified that she doesn't want anything too lacy.
Can...

Netiquette by
Jenn Vanderslice
Hi all,
I've never been one for following rules, but since this is the second
time this situation has occurred, I thought I'd post out about it:
It's considered bad form to put someone's full name in the subject line
of a newsgroup post. I really don't have a big problem with people
doing this...

Hi all
(Major Whine coming - and I do have cheese in the fridge)
After getting my car stuck in the driveway for two days in a row, and
listening to the wind scream for a week, I think I'm about to lose it. I
know I have a ski holiday coming up, but I'm so sick and tired of snow and
wind, that...
