moth damaged yarn by
Bungadora
Well, I started knitting a sweater from some fine merino, and I am wondering
whether I should bother continuing, because several of the balls have moth
damage. The yarn is all broken up into lengths of about a meter or less on 3
balls. (sigh)
I noticed this about a month ago, but didn't think it...

Hi all
There is a friend who is missing from RCTY and we would like to make a gift
basket for her. She is not ill, just very busy, but we would like her to
know we are still thinking of her and miss her friendship.
On the sidelines she always helps in all of our projects by donating
things..so...

Anybody near Boulder CO? by
Slinky
There's a sock machine with my name on it in or near Boulder. I'm
looking for anybody in that area who knows sock machines and would be
willing to go look at the one I might buy to verify it is in good
condition and whatnot. Bribery is a distinct possibility! Drop me a
line off-list if you're...

Scarf Fringe by
MaryR
Dora,
That would be great, thanks. At your leisure, no rush.
Just use morsots 'at' hotmail 'dot' com, writing it out the
way it needs to be to be come active.
This is for a bulky yarn scarf and a fringe is needed but I
don't want to do the "usual."

Simple Knitted Edging by
marsie
Hi, everyone. A while back, I got a simple edging from one of you kind ladies and now I have lost it. It was very simple, like for on booties so the edge isn't so plain.
Does anyone have any ideas for a simple edging that can be done while casting off? I would really appreciate it. ...

I have a crochet magazine from Diana Millelavori that has a stitch I
don't know. This pattern calls for mezzo punto alto, punto alto, punto
alto doppio and "punto alto fantasia". I've never heard of "punto
alto fantasia" and can't figure out what it might be. In the photo it
doesn't look...

OT, but.. relevant by
Noreen's Knit*che
We discuss 'temperatures' here regularly, so thought that as long as we're
SO diversified in regards to locations, etc:
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius subtract 32°, multiply by 5 and divide by
9.
70 °F - 32° = 38° * 5 = 190° : 9= 21 °Ñ
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit multiply by 9, divide by...
