Ping: Tom Farrell by Arri London
In a previous thread you mentioned a Japanese Imperial presentation coat that you made. However you didn't see/reply to my post asking exactly what that was. Is it similar to what Prime Minister Koizumi was shown wearing at his swearing-in? Like a morning...

Which Pfaff Machine for Me? by Ida Boyens
I'm interested in purchasing a Pfaff sewing machine. I do slipcovering of furniture and have an industrial Pfaff that I sew heavy, multi layers and welting with. Now I need a machine for finer work that I do with window treatments, pillows and toile handbags that I make. I have just started looking...

Has anyone found the old Infinite dress pattern, please? Quite a few people appear to be interested in seeing it but I have been unable to find it on the discontinued section of McCall Patterns.

making hand puppets for 6 year olds by noone
I asked my sons teacher if she needed anything for the class, and she told me they'd like some puppets. I had a look at some websites, but all the hand puppets for sale of people were white or really expensive - as about 1/3 of the kids in my sons class are black or asian I don't want to give them...

I need easy directions for one of the popular fleece throws. My granddaughter wants to make one for her boyfriend for Christmas. It has to be simple to follow since she isn't a "crafty" person. Pictures would help. Thanks. Pat

Stupid Americans! -- Stupid... Stupid... STUPID!!! __________==___ agymdovo by Vicki Baylus
Ok guys and dolls, This is a wine making list, and so far it's been the most polite list that I have ever read. Let's make wine, not war, let's not talk politics or religion (except that of Dionysius). And for the record, I did not vote for the incompetent idiot . . . and I'm not real happy...

Name of Fabric by Ted Racine

Thanksgiving poem by Valkyrie
'Twas the night of Thanksgiving, But I just couldn't sleep I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep. The leftovers beckoned The dark meat and white But I fought the temptation With all of my might. Tossing and turning with anticipation The thought of a snack became infatuation. So, I...

A different kind of Thanksgiving by Cynthia Spilsted
Hi all: I just thought I'd share with you my reason for being very thankful on our American friends' Thanksgiving day. Yesterday afternoon, my baby (yes, she's almost 15 - but will always be my baby!) did something only a teenager will do: she saw her friends across the street (downtown!), said...

Question about fleece by aeromom
The clerk who cut the lovely fleece fabric I bought to make baby blankets told me that I didn't need to sew the sides. She said I could just cut it and it would stay--even through many washings. Does anyone know if this is true. I find it hard to believe. aeromom
