Bali Silver -- What's the Deal? by
saucy
I don't think you are the first one to think about this question. I've
secretly wondered it myself. Why Bali silver? Does it have superman or
superwoman type qualities we don't physically see, touch, or smell?
Thanks to those who can enlighten a few of us.

OT - The Greatest Disaster the World Has Ever Known. by
Kathy N-V
I'm sitting in my den, eating my breakfast of a banana and toast,
reading an online newspaper. Everything is pretty normal for a
winter morning he Sophie is begging for bits of banana and
anything else she can scrounge, Manda leans over me and grabs a piece
of toast. Bob is showering, getting...

"Handmade, US Lampwork"???? by
Kaytee
There is somebody on eBay selling beads in this catagory, and "confirming" the
listing by saying it is made by her with any of three premium glass brands,
with a specific mandrel size (but also as "large holed"-- larger than that
mandrel) and kiln annealed.
They look like somewhat "selected" and...

Q: Greasy Glass by
Arondelle
I have an inexpensive blown glass bowl that has a greasy feel to it. It
develops a hazy bloom just hours after washing it.
What causes this, and can I cure it?

inventory for sale by
[email protected]
hi everyone, this is my first time to post here. I've been making
jewelry for about 3 years now. I normally just sell through my
website at www.accessoriesbylisa.com or through craft shows. I only
do about 5 - 6 shows starting in September (I find the spring and
summer shows are too slow). ...

Crimp covers by
Lee S. Billings
Rio Grande is now selling "crimp covers" -- hollow, open beads that you can
wrap around a crimp tube to hide it. I ordered some a while back, and have just
now gotten around to testing them.
They work! Once you've folded your crimp tube, you just align it inside the
hollow center of the bead (I...

I just recently took a short class on Huichol wax beading technique.

more.
I haven't been able to find any information on how to make the
beeswax/pine pitch mixture that you set the beads in.
Do you know anywhere that I can find...

OT. Now I am really down in the dumps by
Shirley Shone
If my bad news last week was not enough I am facing another issue.
I have been diagnosed as I diabetic. Got the testing kit but not the
T-shirt.
I feel really dumped on. The weather is in key with me because it is
bucketing down.

OT rant -- Stupid Ex hurt Mercury! by
Dr. Sooz
Mercury got his poor little "ankle" (front paw) injured by my stupid, stupid
ex-husband. It'll take a piece of metal and two screws to put it back together
again -- which means arthritis. And it was so, so stupid! STOO-PID!
He and I've had a zillion dogs together -- we first had pets in 1978. ...

Wow, my first rude question from Ebay! by
*~candygrrl~*
Well, I must have arrived! I've gotten my first rude "question from a
member" on Ebay! I feel so honored, LOL!
Actually it wasn't a question so much as a brief comment. And I quote:
"Raku is a clay process not glass!!!!!!!!" (Please note the severe
overuse of the exclamation point) That's it....
