respinning yarn? by
[email protected]
Hello all. I'm a new poster to this list. I was reading Handspinning

article is an example of Himalayan Recycled Silk yarn that the author
said had been:
first spun, then redrafted, joined with 60/2, then cabled back on
itself.

baking filled speculaas by
Els van Dam
Just an added note to baking the filled speculaas with almond paste. Let
it totally cool before slicing. Almond paste get runny when hot. I put

Cher is OK by
Noreen's Knit*che
Just a quick note, finally heard from Cher, and all is OK.
Nora and I were frantically bugging Sarah B.... and she graciously tracked
Cher down.
Cher's new monitor didn't work out and she had to get a whole new computer,
and is still downloading stuff.
She'll be with us soon.

password and username to one certain page. It had a lot to do with my
driving. It was a theory site. I went there and...

Planning, dreaming... by
Noreen's Knit*che
Two big things....
As soon as we get through the Holidays, I need to finish my Cobweb Shawl,
and I 'hope' to submit the pattern and photos to one or more knitting
magazines.
THEN, I plan on spinning and dying enough fleece so that I can design an
afghan that I want to enter in the DeKalb County...
