Trouble with image transfers by
John Moorhead
Folks -
First off, thanks for any advice you can provide - I haven't posted here
before... When my wife tries to transfer color copies (not inkjet prints)
onto the clay, it'll only transfer the yellow. We've tried higher & lower
temps, without success. We've also tried straight laser prints and...

Hello and question for swimmers/hot-tubbers by
Shay
This is my first post here, so first of all "Hello" to you all.
I have a question for anyone out there who wears their polymer jewelry
while swimming or hot tubing. I make polymer beads and have started
making some "surfer" jewelry for my friends, who are also willing
guinea pigs for my...

Hi all, I've now tried two bic stic pens and both melted in the oven. The
first was a clear plastic bic (the ones available everywhere) and
unfortunately I hadn't tested it first and lost my work :-( The other was a
white plastic bic which I tried BEFORE applying the clay lol.

Another question about Canes by
Marissa Undercofler
Sarajane, I know you make square canes, and I am curious about them. In the
recent pictures of your square canes, they looked pretty big. I am curious
if they are really as big as they looked, and if so, how do you work them
down into something smaller? Obviously you can't roll it on the table...

baking rocks and crystals in clay by
Stephanie
Does anyone know if the baking heat for polyclay and or the fumes will change
the color or opacity of rocks and crystals? It's clear quartz crystal I am most
worried about. I want to make bezels and or bails for them.
Thanks, Stephanie.

Premo Co-op? by

Would there be any interest in a co-op buy for Premo? I could host it after
the first of the year.

question about canes by
Marissa Undercofler
Well, actually two questions. One, How do you store them? Do you wrap them
in waxed paper or some other sort of paper and store them or do you do
something else all together.
And two, how do you slice them? I have seen people talk about freezing them
and then slicing. If I were to use this...

peek at new canes by
Sjpolyclay
Want to see some of the canes I'm doing this week? These are all in a set of
quilt block-ish canes made with pearlized Premo colors, all mixes with either
gold or pearl white to lighten the gradations. These are not yet fully reduced,
I just placed the four blocks and got a pic. This same style is...

Liquid Kato by
Arondelle
I know I'm not the first person to do this, so I need some quick guidance.
I molded a little moon face, brushed it with Perfect Pearls Interference
Green, baked it. Then, I coated it with Liquid Kato, and baked it.
Well, it doesn't say on the bottle what the recommended TIME for baking
is, just...
