Flaxseed oil (was Mercury!) by Dr. Sooz
And from Sooz's response to it, I think I should give it to Pete for his back. I take it in addition to all my other meds. It is not a panacea for me -- I still am struggling many days just to stay out of bed -- ~~ Sooz ------- Let the beauty we love be what we do. --Rumi ~ Dr. Sooz's Bead...

Update ---- OT Today's Mercury's surgery by Dr. Sooz
Yahoo! Photos: Mercury chilling. http://snurl.com/25r2 He's a beauty! He's a sweetie, too. He's a retired sled dog -- he pulled sleds only for fun, on snow and carts on bare ground. He won't be pulling anything anymore. Boy, did he LOVE pulling! He was a natural -- even slowed down at...

glue by Lisa P.
Hi there! I'm new to this list and I need opinions. Can anybody tell me what glue works best when working with stretch magic? I like to make stretch bracelets. I've used super glue which breaks, and another type of glue which costs $2.00 for enough for about five bracelets. What works for you and...

OT comfrey/knitbone by Sjpolyclay
Here's what" Culpepper's Complete Herbal and English Physician" (first pub. 1826) says in part about comfrey: "What was said of clown's woundwort may also be said of this; the great comfrey helpeth those that spit blood, or make bloody urine, the root boiled in water or wine and the decoction...

AD: New Auctions--Finally! by Lois Oster
Hi all! I finally got the kids back in school, so I had time to list a few new auctions. Mostly focal beads, but there's a set of tourmaline-look leaves in there, too. Please take a look if you have a chance. http://snurl.com/25zv http://www.justbeads.com/search/ql.cfm?s=loster1 Thanks!

OT -- About bullying by Lee S. Billings
I've lost the post that made me think about this, so I'll just start another thread. It occurs to me that one approach to dealing with school officials who refuse to take action about bullies is to ask them to reframe the situation. "Suppose your secretary came in and said that one of the...

OT sorta- question about chain I found by Karen_AZ
Generally only ends or a clasp are marked for content. The rule is that whatever the marking, it must be true for the entire piece. So, you cannot use base metal for a chain and put a 14K or .925 (for sterling) end tag on it. I suppose unscrupulous manufacturer's could get away with it, but...
