Silkweaver by
Rhea
Is there anybody here who is a member of the FOTM club with Silkweaver. They
have enclosed a crytogram to get 20%. Well, I worked on this puzzle forever
yesterday and I have it partly solved. However, I'm not good at these type of
puzzles. Anybody have the solution yet? I know it says...

Good book by
koalamom
I was browsing in Barnes and Noble bookstore in one of the Detroit
suburbs yesterday and stumbled upon a lovely cross stitch book I
wanted to share with everyone. It is called " The Cross Stitcher's
Bible " by Jane Greenoff. It was originally published in Britan in
2000 and republished there and...

Hardanger pattern search by
Dannielle Beitzell
Ok, I have been looking for books everywhere I can think of. Here's what I
want....simple Hardanger Christmas ornament patterns, preferably the kind
that turn into those tiny little pillows. I made about 1/2 a dozen or so
this past Christmas, but I want something different than the same...

Not enough fabric! by
Faren
Somehow, don't ask me how, I miscaluated my fabric for Fairy Grandmother by
MLI. I will only have an inch of fabric at the top, and most likely only an
inch at the bottom. Can I make that work somehow, someway?
I have heard of sewing more fabric to the edges, but have never done it
before, as...

Men's Attire by

Sigh! an I'm too far away to go and get a proper fit. I used to have a white
one with all the trimmings.
Ya think my DW would notice if I traded my black Tux in for the burgandy?

Old charts looking for new homes by
gwynedd
Hi, everyone,
I'm normally a lurker on this newsgroup, but I thought I would step forward
with an offer to anyone who is interested. I've got quite a few old
leaflets and not-so-old leaflets (from mid-80s to late nineties, early
2000's) that I no longer want. I've made a list of them all and I...

Karen C - California
From my EGA column two months ago:
www.millhill.com, a division of Gay Bowles Sales, has a wide variety of
goodies, from beaded ornaments and jewelry, to leaflets, to stitching bands
with machine embroidered borders. (Ladybugs!) The photos are clear and load
quickly. Be sure to read carefully...

Fatty lipomas--thank you all soooo much!! by
Thistle 62
Just wanted to write and thank all of you who responded to my note. I
understand now that these things are very common and I have dried my eyes and
put myself into a better mindframe. I lost my dad to cancer several years ago
and I am afraid that any talk of "lumps and bumps" just makes my heart...

OK, I did not *need* the chart set for the Marbek Nativity, but I
ordered it anyway :-). Not that I anticipate even starting that
project any time in the next few years..... :-)

DMC Christmas postal stamp kits by
Linda Wright
In late December, I found one of the DMC postage stamp kits - the
house one. My husband likes it so much he wants me to get the others
to do a series as a decoration for Christmas. Of course, all the
local shops are out of it. Anyone know of an online source for DMC
kits?
TIA!

Delurking and going to Dallas! by
debbie frost
Hi,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been away from RCTN for a few
years, but I'm finding time to get back here now occasionally as I've
started stitching again. I enjoy cross stitching, and I've done some
knitting and crocheting, but not for awhile due to time and other...

I've looked to no avail for Cut Work. I checked two sites and one said it was
available in December, the other January. Should I just wait or is it out there

Decided to join since I would like to talk to other needlework

summer wreath at the moment. I found that in my late mother's stash, I
was surprised because I think she forgot about it or she would have
given it to me years ago. I do...

OT- Ellice - Reffing by
seaspray
I was thinking of you and your DH this morning while reading the Ledger
Sports page. One of the linesmen at the Rangers game got a puck to the face
and had 20 or so stitches and had to leave the game.
Gee, I hope that never happens to your or your hubby.
