Help choosing charting software by Donna Robinson
Hi, I'm thinking about buying charting software, but am totally bamboozled by the number of programs on offer out there. The one I'm most inclined towards (at the moment) is StitchCraft (www.stitchcraft.info). I've searched and searched for independent reviews but no luck. Has anyone used...

for my scissors by janice142

At yesterday's EGA meeting, a very bright woman who does all kinds of needlework, sewing, and other crafts had never heard the term 'orts' before. If someone would point me to an online something that discusses when the word became related to needlework, I'd appreciate it. If that's not...

Hello everyone! I've been off the air for about six months now, moving from the US back to the UK, making endless Christmas cards, planning a wedding and then getting married, making "Thank you" cards, and so on and so forth. Now, I'm back in the land of the stitching... I found a Hardanger...

Pegasus by John Quinn
I am about 80% finished with "Pegasus, the winged horse" by Pegusus Originals. It doesn't have back stitching to define the edges of the various parts of the animal. I'm wondering if anyone here has added back stitching to it or if you think it would help it pop on the fabric. I'm stitching it...

Cross Stitcher magazine by [email protected]
I used to subscribe to Cross Stitcher magazine, when it was part of Clapper Publishing. I got one in the mail yesterday, with a notice that they want me back as a subscriber. Now I see it's part of Amos Craft Publishing. I didn't know that. And it seems like half the magazine is Amos Advantage...
