De-lurking here...
A few years ago, (actually 8) a kind friend gave me a stitched picture
(a lovely, older Lavender and Lace piece). Please forgive me for
sounding b****y, but I noticed some mistakes right away. For example,
an entire row had only half crosses. In some places the top...

Something to read . . . by
Dianne Lewandowski
When you've opened presents, finished dinner, had the last glass of wine

this. I'm not saying it's "right" or it's "wrong" or that "you're
right" or "I'm right" or pointing fingers. Just sometimes, it's worth
it to read another...

Christmas Present for Me by
Janet Walker
I just have to share! I bought myself (I just love buying myself a
Christmas present - that way I get what I want) a wooden floss holder. It
is just exquisite. It's as lovely as Fred's Stitch Away frames if ya'll are
familiar with them. It's from a company called Patches N Planks. ...

The Peace of the moment by
Cheryl Isaak
The last of the menorah candles has just flickered out.
DS and DH are off to a hockey game. DD is quietly watching TV having had a
long hard day as only a five year old can. In a minute, I'll finish my
supper, do the dishes, put away the vacuum and pick up my needle until I
fall asleep with it in...

dvd recorders by

Neither of the recorders was on PCWorld. If you go to Samsclub.com and
do a search on dvd recorders it will find two, a Magnavox and an RCA. I
just wanted an opinion on which one sounds better or if they both sound
good. Of course this close to Christmas there may be none left.

Enabling, Jacobean Style - For Dianne by
Ellice
Hi ya guys, I just had to share this site. My crazy aunt who quilts, and
used to do NP, has decided that she wants to do embroidery. As in a counted
thread sampler. Next thing I know, after I've sent her a bunch of links to
look at so I have an idea of what types she likes, she picks the...
