I've been a busy bee and suggestions needed by
ALZ
Finished the Michael Murphy Hug quilts and put the binding on. Now
just need a label. A friend who wanted to participate but couldn't get
her blocks ready in time is making them into labels.
Then I put the borders on the Supernova block. First border I didn't
like so -- off it came. I like the...

OT Football joke by
Betsy Ross
Football FINALLY makes sense.......... A
guy took his
girlfriend to her first football game.
They had
great seats right behind their team's
bench. After the
game, he asked her how she liked the
experience.
"Oh, I really liked it," she replied,

My friend (who fell off a ladder at the weekend and broke her back) had

OT - investment humor by
Calico
On their wedding night, the young bride approached her new husband and asked
for $20.00 for their first lovemaking encounter. In his highly aroused state
her husband readily agreed. This scenario was repeated each time they made
love, for the next 30 years, with him thinking that it was a cute way...

OT Update from Connie in ND by
Dreamweaver
I heard from Tyler again this morning. He is in less pain, therefore
has less
medication and can answer questions and make more sense. He is
improving, slowly,
and will hopefully be moved to the states soon. Then I can go see him.
However, he can't be on an airplane until his chest is...

Resource List by
Cheryl
I am part of a small group of quilters in a rural area of Australia, a long
way from any large QS.
I have a list of web sites I go to for ordering on behalf of the group but
thought I might try to put together a list of favorite sources for
quilting/sewing items for my friends and students here. ...

Guild group project ideas wanted by
[email protected]
I am in the process of organizing some type of "group" project for our
guild.
I don't mean like a community quilt -- but something each person could
do then at the end we could see how each person's fabric choices and
layout, etc... would be different.
I'm thinking some type of sampler or themed...

Free Motion Quilting Problem by
Dawn
I'm trying to do some free motion quilting on my Brother ULT 2002D. I have
dropped my feed dogs, the embroidery foot is on the machine, I'm using a
90/14 Singer needle. I'm using the larger needle because I'm quilting
through fused fabrics.. I'm using quilting thread on the top and...

begging by
Calico
I have this idea for a theme quilt depicting a fairy tale village, with
little houses, winding lanes, and maybe a few small castles and towers. Does
anyone have any small scraps that look like wood, bricks, stones, shingles,
doors, windows, ivy-covered walls?
I have a few pieces to start with but...

Roses OFF TOPIC by
Butterfly
Went to Vintage Gardens site (see below) and they have a LIST of Eglantine
Roses -there are 10 different ones! That was an eye opener as I thought it
was the nomenclature of ONE rose.

Interesting, to say the least...and I do not have a single...

Quiliting with hair from my back ! by
Tom-Alex Soorhull
Yes, hair from my back are great for this, because they are long and grow fast.
Of course, I also use my genital hair and ass-hair, but back-hair are the best.
Try it yourself, shave some gay guy and use his body hair !
Or shave cats, they have plenty of fur ...Meow!

Any fabric marblers? by
NightMist
I noticed that Hydroxethyl Cellulose at the place I buy my gum arabic
(mail from Douglas and Sturgess) was lots less expensive than Methyl
Cellulose or carrageenan at the places that I get my art or fabric
supplies from.
So I dropped a note to them. They got back to me and told me that
their...
