AD: Carlson video by

I was startled to have not gotten a bid on this fabulous tape - I lowered
the starting and BIN price slightly, if anyone is/was interested!

Clay gun update by
Trinker
The one I remembered as "from Pro Arts" at Michaels turned out to be by
Loew Cornell.
And it was TERRIBLE. When I finally gave up and started to clean it,
and then examined it again (because it was weirdly difficult to clean),
I found out that only the last inch on either end of the barrel had...

Air bubbles from pasta machine? by
mermaidscove
I've worked with clay before but I mainly did inlay and sculpting. Now
I got a pasta machine to try out some other techniques. I'm using Premo
clay. When I condition it according to directions I've found on the web
(putting the clay though the machine up to ten times on the thickest
setting) it...

cooking poly clay - when is it done? by
peter
I followed the instruction and cook the clay for 15 min at 275F. When I
removed it, it is still elastic. Does that mean it's not cooked, or does it
harden after it cools down? I ended up cooking it a few more minutes until
it hardened. But I'm not quite sure if it was necessary.

using obsessive skills by
Sjpolyclay
One of the things I really like about polymer clay is that it fits my "isms",
my "little ways", which include sometimes getting, well, obsessive. This can
be a handy trait rather than a failing, in the right circumstances. Like when
ya have a 15 pound box of cane slices, and a lot of them are old...

Bic Pens not OT by

Hi (this is my first post though I've been lurking for a little while), are
the yellow barrelled Bic pens ok in the oven? I don't want to melt my first
pen attempt.
Thanks

framing by
kellyK
I'm always having trouble getting a nice 'frame' around flat items...I've
tried baking the item and then applying the black (or whatever) PC strip
around it, and I've also tried doing raw-to-raw. Either way, the frame
comes out lumpy/bumpy. I've seen Donna's work and it is elegant...
