A big thank you! by
Shillelagh
I HAVE to repost my thank yous to everyone who posted such lovely comments
about my shawl. I guess because I've been working on it for a while, and 2
false starts, I've become a little jaded on the work. When I looked at it,
I didn't see it in the same way. Your wonderful comments brought a...

Socks by
Mary Fisher
I shouldn't do this because I'm going to Wales tomorrow for at least two
weekends but I do wonder why there's a sudden passion for socks.
My close friend sarah has discovered them and knits them all the time,
beautiful ones, a daughter is doing the same (the one we're going to see
tomorrow)....

What would you make with Sugar'n Cream? by
Laura J
I have 6 balls (720 yds) of Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn. I know it is usually
used for dishcloths but that is more dishcloths than I care to make! Any
ideas? Has anyone ever made a baby sweater out of it? How does it
wear/wash?
Thanks!

Liam has arrived! by
Katherine
Just wanted to let my friends know that Kandace is now a big sister. Baby
Liam arrived at 10:10 this morning (May 12), weighing in at a huge 6 pounds,
10 ounces. Despite the fact that he was an emergency C-section, he is
gorgeous.

Bag is done! by
Shillelagh
Thanks to everyone for their help & advice. I ran it through the washer
cycles again, and put it in the dryer. It did tighten up some more, and
with my knitting projects IN the bag, it's not quite so floppy.
I took a pic of it outside - so the colour is a little too bright, but
you'll get the...

FO's for October by
NoraBalcer
Hi Everyone,
I either missed this or no one listed what they had accomplished in Oct. My
list is short this time, but I made four squares, finished a WIP afghan and did
a 54x72 size pineapple afghan. I've still got three WIP's going and working on
two secret projects.
Hugs,
Nora

think about the check-out lines. We have many, although they only open
2 or 3 with acutal human cashiers. Most remain closed. They have 6
self-cash outs manned by one cashier always open! Of course, the lines
are very...
