Blind stitch for binding by
AliceW

I know it's not supposed to be used for heirloom quilts or show quilts, but
I have some quilts that are scrap quilts and basic utility quilts that I
would love to find an easier way to sew the back binding down. Don't...

wants to have coffee...

A couple of days ago someone started a fire on the hills, possibly
illegal fireworks, just near the gun club my dad built, and where I
learned so much about life and myself . The fire is now over 5000 acres and is heading into Goleta, a
town near Santa Barbara . There has been
structure loss and...

Geez! Some of you are pretty impatient! I was thinking of waiting
until tomorrow and then pull some kind of Groundhog Day movie
joke....but I guess I'll just post it now and forget the funny stuff!
Just a reminder, this is the next to last BOM posting! The 2007-2008
BOM will need a new hostess,...

can sit flush with the table top.
Well, I came across this series of pics that shows how one is
constructed. The text is in Swedish, but the...

sewing machine reviews so far by
Musicmaker
I've tried out the Husqvarna Quilt Designer and the Janome 6600 so far
in my search for the perfect new machine for free motion quilting. I
didn't like the HQD because it 'felt' poorly made, as in it was noisy
- forr 1100.00, I'd expect a quiet machine. There were also tension
problems. There...

not that I am for advertising in this group or anything like that, but a
doubt has piqued my curiosity. every time we get one of those obnoxious
posts somebody brings out the fact that 'some of us' pay per minute. I
know my mom does that back home, but I am wondering how many of us
really do that...

Hi Guys,
