Corner triangle size? by
Johanna Gibson
I have blocks that finish at 6". I want to put these on point and
use cream fabrics for the 4 corner triangles. How large should I cut
the squares for this? Do I want the bias edge on the hypotenuse or on
the short sides?

The Absent-minded Quilter by
Joan
Maybe it WAS a senior moment. Maybe it was just that I was too preoccupied
with the rest of my life. But that day, on that new baby quilt, I was

I never thought I would feel so crummy over a sewing machine. And an OLD

trouble w/ press-n-seal by
kratersge
After reading about it here, I tried the pressnseal thing to do my
machine quilting. It was a mixed success. I marked my design on the
pressnseal, then quilted using my Bernina stitch regulator foot.
I had a couple problems
(1) I had trouble ripping it out where lines were close, like 1/8...

Subject: What being a Consultant means
A cowboy was herding his herd in a remote pasture when suddenly a
brand-new BMW advanced out of a dust cloud towards him.
The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, Ray Ban
sunglasses and YSL tie, leans out the window and asks the cowboy, "If...

Just when you think you're starting to feel better, you get punched in
the stomach.
My 35-yr-old brother died in February. For various reasons, I'm
responsible for everything from arranging his funeral to tying up loose
ends. He left behind two boys (now 12 and 7).
Anyway, I very unexpectedly...
