I stitched! by
[email protected]
Last night, I started on my sister's Christmas present - a Nancy
Coffelt canvas she picked out. It was great to just sit and get
something accomplished - I got the hat and shirt done.
I have not had nearly enough stitching time lately and this reminds me
of why I do it. . .
Just had to...

OT - Age again! by
Bruce Fletcher (remove dentures to reply)
Have you ever been guilty of looking at others your own age and
thinking, surely I can't look that old? Well, you'll love this one!
My name is Alice Smith and I was sitting in the waiting room for my
first appointment with a new dentist. I noticed his dental diploma,
which bore his full name....

For the Celtic fans by
Cheryl Isaak
Borrow this from the library - lots of knot work and easily adaptable to
needlework. I might try some of the lacing projects to make trim some time

Disasterous Times! by
Fred
Hi Gang!
I guess everyone has witnessed the tremendous drop in postings in this group
and other groups.
Not too long ago I used to download between 400 and 500 posts a day.
I didn't read or respond to all the posts but they were at my ISP for the
asking.

Well lets see how this works out by
Cheryl Isaak
I just picked up new glasses - two pair, one reading pair and one most of
the time. So far, I love the distance glasses, the readers will take some
getting used to. I need them, sort of, for the computer and reading and I
already know they're great for stitching. Pulled out my much neglected...

Several of us have been using it for a while and so far it's been pretty
good. Certainly a lot better then using google.

So, what's everyone working on? by
NDJoan
I'm still on my nativity set. I just finished the last shepherd and
have started on one of the wisemen. Three wisemen and 2 camels to
go!
I'd really like to get the pieces I have stuffed and finished so I can
display them this Christmas.

Weird needles by
Olwyn.Mary
Along with the lap frame I bought at the rummage sale, there was a paper
of needles of a type I have not seen before. They are very heavy, 3.5
inches long and about the weight of a size 18 tapestry needle, with
sharp points and with an eye which looks like a narrowed (or squished)
letter...

My day.......... by
Parrotfish
Oh dear......... looking forward to buying buttons for a baby jacket,
and discovered the shop is closed !
The worst thing was, the wool and needles were still visible through
the window..... so near, yet so far.
So many shops are closing down in the shopping centre :o(
So I decided to treat myself...

Score!! by
Olwyn.Mary
Our church had a rummage sale Friday afternoon and yesterday. I didn't
get to look at much stuff, as dh and I were in charge of sorting the
books, and we had a HUGE amount. (105 cases altogether, when sorted).
However, just before we opened I was walking past the "boutique" table,
and saw a...
