Expensive knitting needles by
Faberge made jeweled knitting needles for ostentation. Some had the size
color coded by the large solitaire diamonds or rubies or emeralds set on the

No, and, as my father used to say: "That is half the story. The other half

Hi, All
I've been pretty busy with the boys, so I haven't been posting much. I
hope everyone is well. Who is knitting in public today? I will try,
but I don't know if I will actually be in public today. I did last
night at a ball game, does that count?
I'm working on a second Branching Out,...

Hello spinners by
Wooly
I've got more fiber in my stash than I can possibly use. I'm looking
for a sweater's worth of yarn (1200-1400 yd) in exchange for 26oz of
whiteTexas Ramboulliet roving. It does have some small VM but that
drops out during spinning.
I like wool yarn but if you have something else (enough...

What would YOU do? by
YarnWright
A few months ago, my mother told me of a lady who comes to their
complex as a vendor, apparently, she makes wooden knitting needles.
Mother asked if I'd want any.
I explicitely stated that it would depend on price, type of wood, and
that I'd want DPN's.
A few weeks later, mother stated that the...

The Internet cafe in my village closed down, so now I have to travel

Well right now I have a "neighbour" who has asked if I can knit/crochet
