Update by
Butterflywings
Miz Polly asked what the latest is so I'm gonna share now that we have
answers.
Last week, DS 'popped' his knee to the point that we were expecting major
surgery.
At this point in time, it's wait and see...including beginning PT for the

Selecting a Quilting Design by
Pat in Virginia
Okay, you've pieced or appliquéd a delightful quilt top. You are pleased and
justifiably proud of it. You want to quilt it (or have it quilted) to
enhance the style and design of the top. How do you decide what to do? Can
you suggest a book that will help train and educate a quilter on this...

Another one finished. :) by
Sandy
I'd been saving the handwork on my latest quilt so I could take it with
me to my jury duty. It's a good thing I called the day before, though;
they not only didn't allow *any* scissors -- they didn't even allow
needles! :O BTW, jury duty (my seventh in 9.5 years here) was at least
partially...

OT Drywall in your homes by
Kate T.
Normally I don't bother with something on the local news channels but
what I heard this morning is rather frightening.
I googled drywall health problems and news articles are coming out of
Florida and now Louisiana about people getting nose bleeds, severe
skin rashes and pain in their...

Trip to the Amish Country by
Pauline
I belong to a couple of small groups & I was talking to one of the groups
today & asked if anyone would be interesting in a trip to the Amish Country
& they are. Since I generally do the planning for group activities, I'm
going to start investigating, but, knowing that all the answers I could...

OT silly computer help needed by
Polly Esther[_5_]
This is too ridiculous to even ask. I don't know how to change the size
of what appears on my monitor. I went to the bugfabrics.com online shop to
order some bugs. Their website produces pictures of fabrics so large that I
only realized after a while that I was missing one horizontally on...

TSWLTH -- on my bad list by
Sunny[_2_]
I've been a supporter of TSWLTH. You have to be careful, but sometimes
you can find a real bargain. Besides, it's the only full-service
fabric store in town.
The past couple times I shopped there, I had problems resulting in
having to take everything off the already paid receipt and do it...

John
In my ongoing campaign to use up some of the solids that I have, I
came up with this Ohio Star variation that I am making for a long time
friend. It, along with another one as yet to be produced, will be sent
off to keep the cold at bay during next years winter chilly season for
the wife and...

Directory question & OT by
Janner
When is the directory being sent out? I did sign up for it, but I've
been offline for about 10 days, so have I missed it somewhere.
Just getting over the local flu, the first time in about 10 years that I
actually stayed in bed for a week! This is unheard off. Feeling better
now, just weak...

What Have I Done? by
Polly Esther[_5_]
A wallhanging? Me? No way.
I've always thought of quilts as treasures for wrapping around and
comforting.
I've never particularly understood art quilts or had any enthusiasm for
a modern, contemporary sort of abstract.
Nope. Not me. You all just carry on and I'll cheer you on but...
