Larisa
I just discovered that, while my computer is virus-free, my address has
been snaked from someone else's computer. I am getting failure messages
left and right regarding addresses that I have no clue who they are
supposed to be.
I will post on the newsgroup if I sent you an email so that you know...

September Signature Swap by
AliceW
I recently received a very wonderful and surprising squishy in the mail
recently and included was a piece of fabric with the sender's screen name.
In my thank you email to the sender, I remarked how nice it would be to swap
siggies. She said it had been done before but not for a while, so it...

LOOKING FOR PEG PAG PATTERN by
earthmagic
Remember those old fabric peg bags that had a coat-hanger in the shoulder
and an opening in the front that you slipped your hand in to reach the pegs?
I'm looking for a pattern so that I can make one.

A Favor of you Please by
judy in fort worth
I found RCTQ when I was new to the internet and trying to figure out the
attraction to chat rooms. This forum was more of what I was looking for and
was not filled with people pretending to be in their 40's when they were
really only teenagers. I do not post often but do read the ng daily. ...

Another exciting busy and fun day! by
juliasb(nospam)
Well we were off again this morning a girl friend and I and we went
in pursuit of treasures only to be found at rummage/yard/garage sales...
Even though I thought I hit the mother load yesterday with my fabric
discoveries... Well I have to tell you I did almost as well as
yesterday. Today I came...

Questions re cold-water dyeing... by
Paul & Suzie Beckwith
OK, since we have expert peoples on here who've done this before and
know what they are doing!!! I have a question...
I've been playing again today and have another 5 pairs of colours
gently stewing in the bathroom. But as I had a small amount of dye
left over, I had a go at space-dyeing an odd...

MQ phobia cured by
Mel Rimmer
I've been cured of my fear of machine quilting, and all it took was the
right materials.
I had been afraid to MQ any tops I was pleased with, or had made with
expensive fabrics, in case I ruined them. So I practised on some 12"
squares, which worked OK. Next I had a go at quilting an ugly...

I'd be willing to jump in and make your BOM if you KIS --no
paper piecing as us beginners cant handle that yet :) If you have some
blocks appliqued, have an alternate block for those who arent ready for
applique :)

OT (mostly):My latest addiction - The Sims by
Kathy Applebaum
I've long been a fan of Sim City, but for some strange reason never thought
about getting The Sims. Last week at my quilt circle, there was a discussion
about The Sims, and the next day while shopping with DH, I saw a copy of the
game. It ended up in my basket, and I've done no sewing for myself...

where there is no major chore waiting for you, so you can actually work
on your quilting, and you find that you don't know where to start???
I have one small quilt done for the lady from church, with 2 more cut
out for stitching (these are the little preemin/security quilts), and a
crib size one...

Small happy dance by
Jalynne
Only because the quilt's not finished yet, but when it is, oh boy oh boy will i be
happy dancing in a big way. I'm doing stippling/meandering for the first time. I've
gotten the hang of free motion quilting motifs drawn onto the quilt, but now i just
wanted to see if I could handle meandering. ...
