AD: More MW Lampwork by Mothwoman
Good Morning! In addition to my usual spacer-type beads, hearts, ruffles, and icicles, this week I have also listed a "large" bead on each auction. They might not be that large compared to most lampwork artist's beads, but for me, they are downright HUGE! LOL! Thanks for looking!

Classes in the Austin Area by starlia
Well they aren't all in the Austin area but they are close enough to drive to. Jennifer Geldard is going to be at Blue Moon Glassworks again. She's a wonderful teacher. Corina has agreed to come back to Blue Moon. Now these are the two I want to take but can't afford right now.

PING - Kalera! re dust masks - OT by Mj
According to what I just heard on TV you need a rating of '95' or better and should have something with a moisture valve for prolonged wear. The report said stores, especially drug stores, in the Portland area should be re-stocked today with more masks as they're NOT in short supply at...

Need advice by ~Candace~
I need some advice. August 28th, I won an auction for 15, 3 inch tubes of silverlined 11/0 seed beads. After a week, I contacted the seller to ask what was going on. About 3 days later, she sent out an e-mail to all of her customers, apologising for the delay, saying that she was in the middle of...

AD: New beads up on Justbeads! And some OT too by Valerie
Hey all! I've been here and there the past month, what with all this hurricane stuff going on down here in not-so-sunny Florida. My power and cable connection still isn't on for good, both keep cutting out, but I managed to list some auctions by going over to my brother's house (I'm house sitting...

The Secret Code (sort of story) by ~Candace~
I've often thought to myself that poeple listening to Adam and I talking would like to run for the nearest guys with white coats. We;ve been developing our own little code for the past 5 years--and it gets stranger every week. I honestly try not to use it with outsiders, but sometimes I slip. ...

What a bummer (highly depressing) by Kandice Seeber
Wow - what people will say when they're concerned! "Are you dying?" Sheesh! Not - "is there anything you need?" Or "We've noticed you feeling worse, is there anything we can do?" But "you look awful - are you dying? Don't mean to insult you!" Kind of tactless, IMO. (((((Hugs)))))) -- Kandice...

Excited about new ventures: PhDl and A Day at the Creativity Spa (C) by Susan B.
As some of you know before I was a beadmaker and sometime jewelry maker, I was an occupational therapist for over 20 years. I've been working diligently over the past few months to re-integrate my two "identities" (hey it's that Gemini thing, eh!) into right livelihood activities. I also need to...

My day out with friends, has beading content! by Su/Cutworks
I had a day out yesterday with some of my needleworking friends, to the Madeira Needlework Show in Harrogate. It was a lovely show, not huge and overwhelming like the massive AllyPally show next week, (that's the annual Stitching show in the Alexandra Palace show venue in London). On display were...

Itching to try frit - can anyone help? Kinda OT by Kandice Seeber
Seeking help from the lampworkers - Okay - I am really itching to try some frit - particularly gold iris reduction frit that is coarse/large enough to pull into stringer for the metallic dot effect. I am not sure about buying this because it's hard to see if anything that's for sale on ebay is...

Brag (DD and MCAS) by starlia
Can't help you there Kathy. I get all out of shape if I'm not a straight A student. A B will get me in a funk for weeks. A C will almost put me in the hospital. Nothing less than stellar is good enough for myself so I know how Manda feels. Give her hugs from me and let her know she isn't...
