I have recently bought a pattern which uses Sirdar Demin Ultra. I am however allergic to wool. Does anyone know of any yarn similar to demin ultra but without any wool content. Any other material is fine Thanks Aly

This is probably a silly question, but here goes. When you measure a length of knitting, do you count the stitches still on the needle? Usually this wouldn't matter, but if you are using large needles it can be close to 1/2 inch. Thanks. Cow Whisperer
