Things to be known before purchasing condoms! by
Rocky
Look for the expiration date on the condom package. Don't use the
condom if the date has already passed.Use a condom every time you have
any kind of sex -- vaginal, anal, or oral. Don't use it more than
once. http://condominformation.blogspot.com/

somewhat On Topic - bobbin winder by
anne
The clutch thingie on my sewing machine is once again 'stuck.' This means that
the needle thingie goes up and down when I need to make a bobbin full of thread
in order to sew a pillow or purse for my embroidery (see how I've cleverly made
it sort of on topic). Someone nice and strong might be...

OT. To lighten up the day by
Gillian Murray
An 18th-century vagabond in England, exhausted and famished,
came to a roadside inn with a sign reading, "George and the
Dragon." He knocked.
The innkeeper's wife stuck her head out a window. "Could ye
spare some victuals?" he asked.
The woman glanced at his shabby, dirty clothes. "No!"...

Maybe now .... by
Cheryl Isaak
I'll have some time to stitch. Well certainly after DD's practice tonight.
And I'll knit there.
I've roasted veggies until I'm ready to drop. And did a very successful
culinary "experiment". I had some apple cider that was well on the way to
being apple jack. A few small glasses of it as jack was...

If someone has this chart, could you tell me what overdyes are called

Silk floss question by
The Lady Gardener[_3_]
I am about to embark on a kit which I like the project but not the design.
I want to match the original colours if I can (as there is a piece of silk
in the finishing workshop which tones with one of the original threads).
The original silk is an 8 ply silk, but I don't think I've ever seen an 8...

Creative ideas needed by
anne
I usually embroider birth announcements for friends and relatives. My niece who
just had her second daughter lives in a small NY coop in which almost every
surface is covered. The not too large piece I did for her first daughter is
propped against books. I've found a free Star of David pattern...

I'd like to make a Christmas ornament for someone who is Polish, and
I've searched and Googled but can't find anything on the Web. Does
anyone know where I can get a freebie Polish Christmas ornament? Or a
freebie of something related to Poland? Or, if that doesn't work,
does anyone know of a...

OT -- very early morning activites by

For no apparent reason, my eyes popped open at 3:30 a.m. When they refused to
stay shut, I got out off bed, made coffee, and wasn't surprised to find that
the newspaper hadn't been delivered yet. Read email, newsgroups, played
solitaire and trivia ... paper had arrived by then so read it and did...
