*OT* About That Baby! *OT* by
Poetta
Well guys .. thanks again for all your prayers -- think you might have
one more little one? DD is in hospital, and while they tried to induce
labor yesterday we got -- nothing. Today they're trying again (2 weeks
early, but want him here due to her blood pressure). If you have time
and want to, say...

I know I've seen the answer to this question many many many moons ago,
but what on earth is the hook end of a dololly for? I can think of a
couple uses, in fact I just used it this afternoon, but I'm curious
about the "official" intention.
My mum gave me one yesterday afternoon. Pretty little...

1000 more down by
Donna D.
Well I got to sit in my garden and stitch for hours. What a day. Checked my
stitches with my magnifier so nothing is off this time. Unfortunately 1000
stitches didn't make a dent in to this picture. I don't usually count
stitches for that reason. I swore off large projects but the 3 I have are...

137 days and counting by
Anne Tuchscherer
Just saw an article about this. It is now 137 days to Christmas. Have
you started all your holiday projects? LOL I still have projects from at
least 3 years ago to finish first. The article was talking about the
fact that Harrod's has opened it's Christmas department. Santa is
apparently...

14 ct canvas by
Jiminy
I used to know this, but I'm not sure where to look...
I'm going to needlepoint a cross-stitch design on 14 ct canvas (figured
that's easy to stitch on even going over the rough roads in S Ohio and West
Virginia). I think the book is called "Reflections" and there are lots of
reflected landscapes...

16-count Aida oatmeal by
Schala
I am having an amazingly difficult time finding 16-count Aida in
oatmeal color. I can't find anything on eBay, and the one website I've
found through Google that sells it doesn't ship to my state for some
strange reason. I'm close to being forced to buy fabric from the UK,
which I'd rather not do...

17th Century Beads by
Tracy Dunne
Through my other hobby of Genealogy, I have recently taken an interest in
African Trade beads.
These were used by African tribes to barter with European traders in
exchange for such things as brandy, cloth, guns, gold, iron, copper, tobacco
and sadly even human beings (slaves).
Some of the beads...

1940's Childs Crocheted Dress by
N.C.
I'm looking for a pattern for a young childs crocheted dress. It had a
circular skirt,& space around the neck, sleeves & waist to insert
colored ribbon. My Grandmother made one for each of her Grandaughters.
Anyone know where I might find this pattern?
