Just a quick note, finally heard from Cher, and all is OK. Nora and I were frantically bugging Sarah B.... and she graciously tracked Cher down. Cher's new monitor didn't work out and she had to get a whole new computer, and is still downloading stuff. She'll be with us soon. HTH, Noreen --

baking filled speculaas by Els van Dam
Just an added note to baking the filled speculaas with almond paste. Let it totally cool before slicing. Almond paste get runny when hot. I put mine in the fridge before slicing it. Els -- I have added a trap for spammers......niet.....

Felted slippers by Penny Batchelor
I have done the felted slippers and thanks to all your advice, they turned out really well. I now have some non slip fabric that I need to attach on the bottom - my grandchildren run at top speed everywhere and I want to avoid too many bruises!! Would I hand sew it on - glue it or what?? ...
