Dirt cheap overlockers on ebay (Australia) by Janice Rae
I'm posting this on a couple of groups, as I'm not sure what one is more appropriate. I've been looking on ebay (Australia), including completed auctions - and boy - there's some great overlocker bargins on there! Here's a couple of examples: http://snipurl.com/h87a http://snipurl.com/h87b

Hair beading by Jen
Does anyone know how to put beads in hair? I know how to braid, but I don't know how to make the beads stay in. I've googled, but no luck. A web site would be good. Jen

Lining Question by Ward
Hello All! I am making a very basic straight skirt with a matching cardigan style jacket. The fabric is a wool, actually it's some men's suiting fabric I bought a couple years ago to make a suit for my husband. The project never materialized, no pun intended, so now the fabric is mine. I will...

help with bra band alteration, please by [email protected]
Help, please! I wear a 30DD bra and the only one that I can find in this size costs $60--if I can find it. A woman at the bra shop told me that her daughter has the same problem, but she buys any RTW bra that fits in the cups and then cuts the band down to fit. Unfortunately, the woman didn't sew...

SEWING MACHINE FAIRY STRUCK! by Melinda Meahan - take out TRASH to reply
I was cleaning out my closet, and you'll never guess what I found -- a lovely tan-and-white Singer 401A in perfect condition. It only has the teeniest of scratches on the bed and absolutely no rust or anything. The bobbin winder looks like it was never used -- still has the little molding joint on...
