Annual All Hallow's Eve Block Swap? by
Gothikka
Has anyone heard from Wendy? I'd love to participate in another
Halloween block swap, but don't want to steal Wendy's thunder from her
annual All Hallow's Eve Block Swap. Can we do that again? Can we? Can
we?:)

finished quilt by
Kay Ahr[_2_]
The Scrappy September Mystery Quilt from 2006 -- one of Jessamy's mysteries.
Actually it has been finished for weeks. Just now got around to taking a
picture. It's the first photo in the "Finished Quilts" album. I think it's
60x60, or thereabouts. Wouldn't it look grand in gray and peach and...

Mailing a quilt by
Kate T.
I am looking for a box or something sturdy enough to mail a queen size
quilt.
I've had a suggestion of a blanket box. But everything I've found on
the net is what I consider a blanket chest.
Any suggestions as to where to look and what to ask for.

Hi Everyone,

explains my absence from the group for a few years, plus trying to get a
business going took up all my free time as well. Now tho, I am back, and
glad to see so many familiar faces as well as so many new ones. I...

Abby's quilt by
Bonnie NJ
Hi All,
Just had to post that my DGD went home last night with her completed quilt!
As I thought, her blocks weren't cut properly but we managed to get the
quilt together. She enjoyed first designing her quilt on the wall and then
sewing the blocks together into rows. When it came to sewing...

changing out the mouthwash spittoon and feeding her vicodin. The poor

Off and On Topic-How did I get into this by
Dawn In Alberta
The off topic part is that today I had my stairs done, carpeting is now gone
and lament wood flooring is down. It looks great it should also help with
the allergies, but not much since I am also allergic to my cats but as they
say an allergy pill a day keeps the wheezing at bay as well as the...

A truely winning applique quilt by
Debra
Wow! Ladies, click on the big picture of the quilt and it takes you
to a larger one. The larger picture allows you to click on any of the
small blocks in the quilt for a closer look. The sweater is really
knit, the sheep are wooly, the rabbit has fur. It also allows you to
click on a section of...

Progress with the bits of purple by
Louise[_2_]
So I've spent most of the summer away from my sewing machine, first
living in a university residence with teenagers for a summer program
and then on vacation. I've been using my crafting time cutting and
hand-piecing bits of purple (including some wonderful fabrics I got in
the mail from some of...

An applique trick by
Polly Esther
I just did some really messy appliqué to fusible web pressing. To keep my
pressing board clean, I put a sheet of Reynolds 'Release' aluminum foil on
it. It works just great. The appliqué peeled off easily with nary a ravel
or fray. It did Not work where the foil wasn't. Anybody know how to...
