Hi All,
Here is the reply I received about Mirjam's exhibit.
Unfortunately this exhibition is not available online. I’m sorry I am not

Almost as good as S.E.X. by
SlinkyToy
Spent the day picking and carding and picking and carding and picking
and...well, you get the idea. Ate good grub for lunch, confabbed with
an old friend I haven't seen in a while. Snorted too much carding
chaff - you know, all the stuff that falls out of a fleece you just
KNOW is perfectly...

Estate sale in Florida by
Kolaga Xiuhtecuhtli
I have a lot of yarn from my mother's estate here in Florida. I do mean
a lot -- hundreds of spools. I'd like to sell it but I don't know
diddley-squat
about weaving stuff. Where should I take this stuff?
Thanks...

Colinette by
Delzie
Hi everyone,
I am new here an have a quick question for you. I ordered a Colinette
Absolutely Fabulous Throw and was told there would be instructions for
crocheting in it, as I don't knit. But there isn't any instructions
for crocheting. Does anyone know where I can get them? Can I order
them...

To Auntie Nora by
Pirjo Ilvesvuori
That front...I have taken a bit easy with my knitting....Have not touched to
that white one after adding those rows. Wish I had motivation for it....but
now this hectic life of mine takes rather much strength. Thanks for the
envelope, I will wait untill the time is right and I see it.

All Washed Up by
SlinkyToy
Any of you who make soap can identify with this frustration...
Last year (and I've slept several times since) I purchased some actual
soap molds through a co-op purchase on one of the Yahoo lists. I
would SWEAR that I purchased hot-process molds.
Today I had time and decided to make a last batch...

I found some LionBrand Bulky Woolease in the clearance bin at
HobbyLobby last week and couldn't pass on it - it *does* have some
wool in it, after all. For the past several days I've been knitting
fast and loose - I dug out my #17 circs,...

Befuddled by a pattern - a bit long by
Karen
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this -- I am working from a Vogue
Knitting "Very Easy Knits" and feeling very deficient because it's supposed
to be "very easy" and I'm lost. :)
Guy's Guernsey sweater -- working on the sleeves. There is a pattern that
is repeated throughout the body...

FO! & New Project by
Ranee Mueller
I finished Alexander's sweater, and he wore it to church yesterday,
then to school today. :) He seems to want to wear it every day. It
was just a simple, st st, top down sweater, knit in this dayglow orange
he picked out, and I knit his initials into the front. He adores it.
I'm glad, too,...

OT - Backwards again, and switching too - without looking! by
Sorola Pinja
Hi ladies! This is OT, I know...but to me this is important. I try not to
feel guilty, even I do, I admit it. There is persons I do not dare to tell
this for, but you are different matter. My teacher and me, we left from
Lepistö. Near the health center we changed the driver. I took the wheel...

HOW-TO site for new and not-so new knitters by
Aud
Doing a bit decluttering in my "FAVORITES",
I found this link, very useful for many knitters.
I may have got it from somebody here,
but a little reminder may be helpful for someone?

Useful document by
SlinkyToy
I was looking for something else and found this document. Quite often
I see posts from people asking for definitions or descriptions of yarn
weights, or for hook/needle equivalencies, or for fiber care
information.
This document seems to cover at least the first two...

Socks help by
Kirsten Procter
I've knitted the first sock of a pair, for a gift, and the friend
concerned loves it, but can;t get it on. It seems to be just that my cast
on edge is too tight. Is there any way I can fix this, or should I just
have used a different cast on method or a different pattern? The pattern I
used is...

Easy breakfast recipe by
SlinkyToy
Those of you with ricecookers will appreciate this. Only one thing to
clean, and that'll be easy-peasy to wash up, as the oats won't scorch
and stick to the bottom.
No-scorch oatmeal
Into the bowl of the ricecooker dump 1c steel-cut oats and 1.5c water
(or a bit more, if you want mushier oats). ...
