Handcrafted jewelry by
[email protected]
Hi, I am new to the internet and my passion is making jewerly of all
kinds. I do alot of beading with semi-precious stone and freshwater
pearls and some wire wrapping. I have never written any blogs but
would like any help and advice you can give for me to get my jewelry
name out there. Right...

What type of bead to use? by
LilaDuncan
Hi,
I want to make some articulated toys from wood, strung together with
nylon cord. There will be beads between the wooden components, acting
as decorative spacers. Some of the constructions will be quite rigid
and some will need to be more flexible. I would ideally like the beads
to be colorful...

AD - Earth Song and More! by
Dawn >^..^
Hi Y'all,
Well I took the day off from the torch today to do some shopping for
hurricane supplies. Not exactly what I had planned to do today, but it
wasn't too bad. I was able to get gas before all the stations ran out which
was a plus. Hopefully Ernesto will go easy on us. Hot dogs anyone?
I...

pins by
[email protected]
Don't worry about having the pins removed. A channel is formed around
them and doesn't fuse to the bone. I had 7 pins removed when I broke
my foot, and they honestly didn't hurt a bit. The only thing that was a
little weird is that they take them out with ordinary pliers, the kind
you'd buy in...

OT Request for vibes by
melinda
I don't post very often, so I could be termed a semi-lurker but that
aside, my Mum told me Saturday that my Grandma, last surviving
grandparent, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I'm not
ready to lose her, she babysat me a lot during weekends when my
parents were busy with pistol shooting...

AD: Bugs and Beads by
Juanita Floyd
Hi Everyone,
I had a bit of time to do some listings this week on e Bay. Mostly ceramic
stuff, with some poly and ceramic beads thrown in for good measure. The big
thing I have is handpainted commemorative plates for the cicada invasion this
year. Some of you will appreciate these more than others...

looking for advice by
Snaggeltooth
Just like MBStevens said... have good content and make sure your site is
interesting to look at. If its a product you are selling, then make sure
its something people want to buy. You might also try coding some creative
meta tags, list your site with as many search engines as you can find,...

AD, Kinda - any interest in.... by
Kandice Seeber
Hi all!
I am trying to gauge interest in what people want right now in lampwork
beads, since ebay has been relatively slow lately......I am thinking of
opening up custom orders again. Is anyone interested in having me make some
custom beads? There would be some limits and rules of course, like...

Hi :) by
beadzbiz
Hi to all! Just wanted to introduce myself as I'm new to the group, my
name's Leonie and I have a bead shop in Llangollen, North Wales. I'm a
picture framer first and foremost, but I adore beads and beading as a
hobby and love interacting with other beadfreaks! Which makes for a
happy shop :) My...

Serendipity! by
Jan G
DH was messing around with some clay. He was trying to blend it and it
didn't work out. So, he smooshed it together and made a couple of canes.
He wrapped them in white, put the 4 of them together and wrapped them in
black and cut them.
He ended up with giraffe beads! They look like the...

OT - Confessions of a Cookbook Junkie by
Karen_AZ
(This is what I do to distract me when stuff like Ebay totally p*sses me
off)
I adore cookbooks. I like cooking almost as much if not (quite) as well. My
family had probably a core of 15 basic meals repeated over the course of a
year. Well, I mostly do, too, but I'm gradually getting more and...

I recommend 'greatly' rather than 'gently'. It sounds more definite
