brother 930 manual by Janine Visser
In a message of 6 august 2004 someone asked for a brother 930 manual. You can download manuals from the brother site. There is no 930 manual, but there is a 910 manual; perhaps you want to take a look at that; the basics are the same for all machines I think. The site is mostly about sewing; you...

Studio/Singer electronics by posey
I have a Singer 580 and a Studio 860. Can I hook up the curly cord from the 580 to the carriage of the 860, thereby using the patterning built in the 580 (mylar pattern reader) on the bed of the 860 (no built in pattern reader), eliminating the need for DAK or an EC-1 connecton? Thanks Posey

Singer LK100 carriage jams by LL Phillips
Just wondering if anyone can advise regarding the plastic knobs on the needles of LK100s. I've been advised this could be one source of carriage jams. Does anyone have a suggestion of something that could be substituted - perhaps in metal from another machine ? Lorraine

KnittingPal by David Lawrence
Just for fun I bought a used KnittingPal (aka KnittingMate) in an auction. The only problem is that I find the instructions completely incomprehensible (and so does everyone elsed I've showed them to). Is there anywhere I can get some advice? David Lawrence
