OT & OT Scorching and Allergy by
Marlys in Indiana
It would appear that I'm not allergic to chocolate after all - Hurrah!!!
I've been eating a
little every day and I'm actually getting better with the rashes. They
still come and go
but not as badly as before. Guess it is still caused by the internal fungus
infection
that I have had for quite some...

15 Things to do at Wal-Mart by
hfw
15 Things to do at Wal-Mart while your spouse/partner is taking their sweet
time:
1. Get 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they
aren't looking
2. Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
3. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor...

off to Florida by
Susan Laity Price
My husband is packing the car as I type. We are off to Florida for two
weeks. My son is home so don't anyone think of raiding the stash. He
doesn't eat chocolate so even that won't work. I will have to ask
about the BOM when I return. I haven't had time the last few days to
read the newsgroup. I...

The space quilt by
Debra
Finally some progress. After a looonng search I've finally found a
design I like enough to adapt it for DH's space babe quilt. This is
great! It'll have a huge whole cloth center, surrounded by a narrow
border with corner post blocks, surrounded by 9 or 10 inch blocks that
alternate between...

frood
My mom called today to tell me about a sewing/embroidery retreat in
Cincinnati, OH at the end of March. I found a website
http://www.kramersews.com/retreat.htm but it doesn't say much. Anybody know
anything about this one? Is it geared for quilters? or other sewing and
embroidery?
How about the...

OT Rotten Day by
Mika
Well this has turned out to be a not the best day I've ever had day. I
called the lab today to find out what my regimen was going to be to prepare
for surgery in the morning. No need to worry because there isn't going to be
a surgery. I have a sore throat and sinus infection so the surgery...

RCTQ Block-of-the-Month by
Anne
My block is done. I have a lot of these vintage-y calicoes so this is
going to be a scrappy blue and brown (my absolutely favorite
combination) sampler.

Hancocks-Paducah and Hockey Quilt by
Donna A
There are always lots of complaints about Hancocks-Paducah, but I want to
tell you about my experience this week.
On Jan 5th, I ordered a case of pillow forms for a fund-raiser we're doing
for Project Linus. Jan 31st came and the pillows hadn't come yet. So, I
called to see why. The lady who...

OT Universal Truths by
Paul & Suzie Beckwith
DH just read these out from his WWII re-enactment forum, so I just had
to share... they are kinda male-based but funny anyways!
Universal Truths
1. Triangular sandwiches taste better than square ones.
2. At the end of every party there is always a girl crying.
3. One of the most awkward things...

Little Wanzer by
Sally Swindells
My local antique dealer showed me her new 'baby' today - a Little
Wanzer similar to:
http://www.needlebar.com/makers/canada/w/wanzer/1index.html
dating from the 1870s.
She'd rescued it from a house clearance, and spent all last night
cleaning off the rust and oiling it. The gilding has almost...
